Gary Farber

I am a retired building energy analyst.  I earned a degree in architecture, have worked to make California's building energy code work better to conserve energy, and been active in campaigns to make cities more sustainable and livable through both smart land use and support for alternatives to private motor vehicle transportation.  I work with 350 Contra Costa Action [ https://350contracostaaction.org/ ], a local branch of 350 Bay Area [ https://350bayarea.org/ ].  These organizations encourage local governments, and the state, to take action to reduce greenhouse emissions by phasing out the production and use of fossil fuels (mainly in buildings and transportation).
